Brown discusses how his training was oriented to service in Vietnam; his training and teaching at Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning; flying helicopter combat missions; relations with officers, nurses, journalists, American civilians, and Vietnamese civilians; drug use among American soldiers; the poor performance of ARVN; conflicts among American soldiers; prostitution; and adjusting to being back in America.
